Who we are

WOW Motors is a trading name of WOW MOTORS LTD, a company registered in England & Wales, number 17486450, registered office 50 Sterling Place, London W5 4RA. What we collect and why

• Enquiries — name, phone number, vehicle registration, postcode and what you tell us about the van, when you call, WhatsApp us or use the enquiry form. Used to reply, quote and book the work (steps before a contract).
• Jobs — your contact details, vehicle details (registration, VIN, mileage), photos of the vehicle and parts, the work done, quotes, invoices and payments. Used to carry out and bill the work (contract) and to keep accounting records (legal obligation).
• Reminders — if you agree, we contact you when an MOT or service is due (consent — you can say stop at any time).

The registration checker

The registration you type is sent from our server to the DVSA MOT History service to look up the make, model, engine, MOT expiry and recorded mileage. We do not store the registration or the result, and we do not ask who you are. A registration on its own is not normally personal data, but we treat it with the same care.

The enquiry form and WhatsApp

The form does not send anything to us by itself — it opens WhatsApp on your device with your message filled in, and you choose whether to send it. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

Who we share it with

Only those who help us do the job: parts suppliers (vehicle details, not your contact details unless delivery needs them), our accountant, IT and hosting providers, and authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become a job — up to 12 months.
• Job records, invoices and payments — 6 years after the end of the financial year, as UK tax law requires.
• Reminder consent — until you withdraw it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent for reminders at any time. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office — ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
