Two options: bring it in, or we come to you

Our workshop is at Crown Farm, Eton Wick Road, Windsor — room for the jobs that need the car in the air: clutches, suspension, full wet belt replacements. Until the doors open, everything we can do on site, we do on site.

Mobile work carries on after it opens. If the car or van is needed, it can stay where it is.

The one that kills engines

If your car or van has a belt running inside the oil, it is on a clock

Ford's 1.0 EcoBoost, 1.5 and 2.0 EcoBlue, and the Stellantis 1.2 PureTech and 1.5 / 1.6 BlueHDi all run the cambelt in the engine oil. As the belt ages it sheds rubber, that rubber blocks the oil pickup, and the engine is finished — usually with no warning beyond a light that comes on far too late.

What we do about it →

Signs worth acting on today

  • Rattle from the timing end on a cold start
  • Oil pressure or oil level light, even briefly
  • Black sludge or rubber flecks on the dipstick
  • Oil changes that have been stretched or skipped
  • Wrong oil spec used at a quick-fit service

Any of those and it is worth a look now — an inspection costs a fraction of an engine.

Questions we get asked

Do you have a garage I can bring my car to?

Yes — our workshop is at Crown Farm, Eton Wick Road, Windsor SL4 6PG, and it is opening soon. Until then we work on site, and we will tell you straight away if a job has to wait for the workshop.

Can you come to me instead?

Yes. Servicing, diagnostics, brakes, batteries, starting faults and wet belt checks are all done on site — yard, depot, driveway or car park. See areas we cover.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

For mobile work, yes — quoted before we set off, together with the labour, so the total is agreed in advance.

Can you come today?

Sometimes — breakdowns get fitted in where we can. Call or WhatsApp if the car is off the road today.

Do you work on fleets?

Yes — a run of vans or cars in one visit, out of hours if they work during the day, and invoicing on account. See fleet servicing.
